I'm Aspen Frye, an Enrolled Agent and former IRS Revenue Officer with 17 years of experience working inside the IRS. During my career, I worked with individuals and businesses on complex tax collection and compliance matters, including tax debt, payroll taxes, liens, levies, and tax resolution options. I also served as a Technical Advisor with the Taxpayer Advocate Service, advising case advocates on complex collection issues, IRS procedures, and taxpayer rights. In a separate role, I worked with the IRS's Abusive Tax Avoidance Transactions Group. These experiences gave me firsthand insight into how the IRS reviews cases, evaluates financial information, and approaches collection decisions.

Today, I use that knowledge to help individuals and businesses navigate tax problems and work toward resolution. As an Enrolled Agent, I'm federally authorized to represent taxpayers before the IRS, including in collection matters and appeals. I started Aspen's Tax Resolution Services because I understand how stressful and confusing dealing with the IRS can be. My goal is to provide clear answers, explain your options, and offer experienced representation so you can make informed decisions and move forward with greater confidence.

I earned my Bachelor of Business Administration, with a minor in Accounting, from the University of Montana. I also served in the U.S. Army Reserves and deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. My military service and IRS career shaped my approach to helping others: with integrity, thoughtful guidance, and a commitment to finding a path forward. Those values continue to guide the way I work with my clients.
